Sosta is a mobile application designed to provide emotional support, community, and AI-powered guidance to individuals navigating relationship breakups. Sosta is not a mental health service, therapy platform, or medical provider. The app offers:
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Sosta Inc. grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Sosta application on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This license may be extended to other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing, as permitted by Apple. You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit or make available to any third party the application.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Sosta. By using the app, you represent and warrant that:

Sosta is not a licensed mental health provider, therapist, counselor, or crisis service. The AI chat feature ("Sosta Chat") is an artificial intelligence tool designed to provide peer-style emotional support and is not a substitute for professional mental health care. Sosta does not provide diagnoses, clinical assessments, or therapeutic treatment.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or thoughts of self-harm, please contact emergency services (911) or a crisis helpline such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline immediately.
By using Sosta, you acknowledge and agree that:
To access Sosta you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information including your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not create an account using a false identity, impersonate another person, or create multiple accounts. Sosta reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
During onboarding, Sosta collects personal information including your name, relationship history, emotional state, and information about your ex-partner. This information is used solely to personalize your experience within the app. You represent that any information you share about third parties is provided for the purpose of receiving support and that you will not use Sosta to harass, stalk, or harm any third party.
You agree to use Sosta only for lawful purposes. You agree that you will not:
The Sosta community forum is a safe space for people navigating breakups and relationship challenges. All users are expected to engage with empathy, respect, and honesty. Content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or intended to harm others will be removed. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban. You retain ownership of content you post but grant Sosta a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it within the app.
Free Tier: Users receive limited daily AI chat messages and full access to community and video features.
Sosta Plus: Premium subscribers receive unlimited AI chat messages and additional premium features.
Free Trial: New users receive a complimentary 7-day trial of Sosta Plus. No payment is required. The trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription and expires automatically after 7 days. If you subscribe before the trial ends, any remaining trial period will be forfeited.
Billing: Sosta Plus is a recurring monthly subscription billed through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policies; Sosta does not directly process or store payment information.
Sosta Inc. is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services with respect to the application. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to Sosta. In the event of any failure of the application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Any other claims are the sole responsibility of Sosta Inc.
Sosta Inc., not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the application, including product liability claims, claims that the application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
All content, design, code, branding, and features within the Sosta app are the intellectual property of Sosta Inc. and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Sosta Inc., not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any intellectual property infringement claim. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Sosta content without express written permission.
Sosta is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sosta Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app. Sosta's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sosta Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the app, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in the Sosta Privacy Policy. Conversation data is stored to personalize your experience. Sosta does not sell your personal data. Sosta uses third-party AI services (including Anthropic) to power chat functionality. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support.
When using Sosta, you may interact with third-party services including Anthropic's AI services. You agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms of service and must not use Sosta in any way that would cause you to violate any applicable third-party agreements.
You acknowledge and agree that Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms of Service, and that upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the app and contacting Sosta to request account deletion. Sosta reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violations of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app ends immediately.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
Sosta reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of Sosta after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the app.
